Flinders University Paediatric Dietetic Service
The Health2Go Paediatric Dietetic outpatient service is a collaboration between Flinders University and Sothern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN). This is a student-led service delivered by Flinders University final year Nutrition and Dietetics students, with direct supervision from a Senior Paediatric Dietitian and Clinical Educator from Flinders Medical Centre.
This outpatient clinic has been designed to provide sub-acute dietetic services to children and families with dietary concerns that do not meet criteria for acute and/or specialist services to be seen by the paediatric team at Flinders Medical Centre. It has been designed to be a lower cost alternative to private dietetic services.
The session will provide a comprehensive nutritional assessment and individualised education with practical feeding and dietary recommendations. For clients referred with fussy and restricted eating, feeding therapy services are available. Referrals are welcome for paediatric population <16 yrs of age and accepted from health professionals as well as self-referrals.
For enquiries regarding the referral form or to book your appointment, please call us on (08) 7221 8700 or email email@example.com.
